GET A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP!!
Did you know that people who work the night shift are more likely to be overweight than those who do not? Yes, talking about sleep seems silly when discussing weight loss but it is actually VERY important! Being well rested is essential for total body health. Poor sleep leads to decreased energy, lack of desire to exercise, and unhealthy food habits. So, sweet dreams (and yes, pun was intended).
The old adage, "out of sight, out of mind" applies to weight loss and health goals also. We have all been there after we have splurged and then decided to skip the scale. Forcing yourself to see your weight will help you keep it down and achieve your goals sooner. You will be more successful if you do this. Remember, if you don't want to tip the scale, then don't skip the scale!
